Muscular Endurance is the ability for a muscle or group of muscles to work against a resistance for a period of time. The test for muscular endurance is the 1 minute press up challenge. You have a minute to complete as many press ups as you can, the higher you get the higher your score will be. The advantages of this test are that it is cheap, it can be done almost anywhere and not many resources are needed. The disadvantages of this test are that it is only focused on your arms but no other areas of your body and also the press-ups could be performed incorrectly with a poor form. An alternative test is the step up test. This involves one minute of step ups onto a bench counting how many you performed after the minute. The more you complete the higher your score for muscular enduranc will be.
