An assistant is needed to conduct this test, they will take the skin from the chosen body part which you are assessing, it can be anyone of nine areas including the abdomen and the triceps. Ensure the caliper is placed roughly one Centre metre away from the fingers and at a depth around the same as the thickness of the fold. Repeat this from around three to five times to gain a good range of data so your results are reliable. Find an average from these results and use this value to assess the persons body fat percentage.
